Battle of the Books

Description: The Battle of the Books club is open to any 5th grade student. Throughout the year, we will have club meetings that will take place in the library and each club member will receive a schedule.  As club members, each student will read the required books provided by the library and work in teams.  The students will work cooperatively and responsibly, think critically, and polish their communication skills. They will actively take part in working towards goals as a team while having fun! In the spring, our team(s) will participate in a district wide Battle of the Books competition.  Teams from every Judson ISD elementary school will be there!  It’s a great experience and a unique opportunity for our students to enjoy!
