Meeting Dates and Time: Twice a month, 1st and 3rd Thursdays until 4:15

Grades: 1st and 2nd

Description: Wortham Oaks Elementary will begin its Garden Club on October 19th
The purpose of the Garden Club is to introduce gardening, conservation, recognition of plants and their life cycle, and a love and appreciation of nature. The Garden Club will increase your child’s gardening knowledge and joy of growing their own plants.  At the same time, it will teach responsibility, and help them to form bonds with their peers.  We also hope to grow plants that may spark their interest in trying new herbs and vegetables.
